CO2 Enhanced Oil Recovery

We estimate the potential of CO2-EOR in enhancing oil recovery and storing CO2. We can conduct field-specific history matching and forecasting for CO2-EOR and CO2 storage.

CO2 Enhanced Gas Recovery

 We estimate the potential of gas condensate recovery for CO2-enhanced gas recovery.  In addition, we estimate the CO2 storage capacity for dry and wet gas reservoirs.

CO2 storage in saline aquifers

We estimate CO2 storage in saline aquifers through reservoir simulations. In particular, the storing CO2 as solid CO2-hydrate in deepwater aquifers is a new technology we have developed.

Geothermal Heat Mining by CO2 Injection

Our research has shown that mining of geothermal energy by CO2 injection can be used for both electricity generation and CO2 storage.  We can conduct field specific simulations to estimate potential benefits.
